Personalisation and liquid content: GenAI takes root

GenAI and the future of the news experience

GenAI to serve audiences more effectively

GenAI to understand user intent

The personalisation revolution

GenAI offers us vast possibilities with personalisation and for content to take the shape of any format that it is poured into.

Where is it actually paying off?

Amid the hype around AI agents, how can we use GenAI to both serve our audiences better and understand them more deeply?

What are the best practices when it comes to using GenAI for chat products, audio, video, newsletters and other formats?

And amid the threat of search traffic evaporating, how will future audiences experience news as interfaces evolve?

Modules

Module 1: AI to create personalised content

What does the future of news look like? How can we use AI to quickly and inexpensively launch products and news experiences that match different audiences’ consumption patterns, whether it is through audio, video, translations, newsletters or other formats? We feature prototypes and use cases from across the world.

Module 2: AI to personalise products

How can we better meet the news consumer’s needs with the flood of content that we produce? Personalisation and conversational interfaces help us provide what audiences find valuable, a step change from simply pushing one-size-fits-all content out in every direction. We take a deep dive into GenAI products that help us serve the news consumer better in this module.

Module 3: AI to understand and monetise audiences

How can we use AI to create intelligent segments and target audiences more effectively, creating the building blocks of a sustainable news business? This module focuses on specific use cases that monetise audiences.
