What is the attire?

Dress for the INMA World Congress is business casual except for Thursday evening’s Global Media Awards Dinner, which is semi-formal (black-tie optional).

What does my registration fee include?

Your World Congress registration fee includes the Tuesday evening welcome reception at Museum Island; Wednesday sessions, breaks, lunch, and an evening reception at Axica; Thursday sessions, breaks, and lunch at Axica; and Friday seminars at the Adlon Kempinski. You must register separately for the study tours and the Global Media Awards at Tipi am Kanzleramt.

What hotel should I book during my stay in Berlin?

Because of the large number of hotels near Axica and the wide range of prices (and attendee's budgets), there is no official INMA hotel for the Berlin World Congress. INMA has researched hotels in the immediate vicinity and put together a list of recommended hotels, which you can access by clicking here. Recommended hotels range in price from €127 to €425, with the median of €276.

Is there a report or coverage of World Congress that I can use?

Yes. INMA provides robust post-event coverage to ensure you don’t miss a thing. This includes access to speaker presentations, audio recordings and transcripts, blog recaps, summary articles, event photos and videos, and a comprehensive distillation of the most important insights from each session.

How do I get to Axica?

The World Congress venue for Wednesday and Thursday sessions is Axica, located at Pariser Platz 3 in Berlin. Depending on the location of your hotel you may walk, taxi/Uber, or use public transportation.

What will Berlin weather be like during World Congress week?

Springtime in Berlin is the best time to be in the city. Look for morning lows from 7°C to 10°C (45°F to 50°F) range and afternoon highs of 15°C to 20°C (59°F to 68°F) range. View the real-time Berlin forecast.

Where can I get Congress photos? Do I have permission to use or share?

Will there be simultaneous interpretation?

The World Congress will be presented in English and will not offer simultaneous interpretation. However, attendees are welcome to use their own devices or apps (such as translation earbuds or live transcription tools) to follow along in their preferred language.

Am I going to get the presentations?

If you are registered for the World Congress, you will get access to presentations provided by speakers for the Wednesday-Thursday Media Conference sessions and all Friday workshops (whether you attended or not). Only study tour registrants will get study tour presentations. Be aware that not all speakers provide their presentations. Participants will get an e-mail when the presentation download page is ready.

How can I contact a speaker, attendee, or solutions provider?

For privacy reasons, we will unveil the World Congress attendee list in phases. The attendee list will first be made available in January 2026. The list will not include links to attendees; instead, use the INMA Member Directory to connect. Links to registered attendees will be made available May 4 - 8 during Congress Week.

Can I bring my spouse or guest to the World Congress?

Share your business trip to New York with a spouse or partner by registering them for the Welcome Reception at Museum Island and the Global Media Awards Dinner at Tipi am Kanzleramt. Tickets may be purchased online. Due to limited space, only full Congress registrants can attend conference sessions.

What documentation do I need to visit Berlin?

If you are traveling from outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland, you will need a passport that is valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure. A new travel authorization called the ETIAS may be in effect. Visit https://travel-europe.europa.eu/etias_en for more information.
