Whether it’s your first time or a return visit, Toronto offers a dynamic mix of culture, creativity, and Canadian character.
Here are some must-sees and local tips to enrich your experience:
Royal Ontario Museum (ROM)
One of North America’s top museums, blending natural history and world cultures. Look for dinosaur skeletons, ancient artifacts, and a standout crystal facade.
Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO)
A spectacular collection of Canadian, Indigenous, and contemporary art — all housed in a stunning Frank Gehry-designed building.
St. Lawrence Market
Beloved by locals and travelers alike. Sample fresh local cheese, peameal bacon sandwiches, and sweet treats.
CN Tower & EdgeWalk
Toronto’s iconic "needle" soars 553 meters into the sky. Enjoy panoramic views — or test your courage on the EdgeWalk, the world’s highest hands-free walk.
Distillery Historic District
A walkable, cobblestoned neighborhood packed with art galleries, indie shops, cafes, and bars. Atmospheric both day and night.
Toronto Islands (weather permitting)
Take a ferry for a calm escape: beaches, nature trails, picnic spots, and postcard views of Toronto’s skyline.
In early- to mid-March, Toronto is still in winter mode, with chilly air and the chance of snow.
Pack smart: Bring warm layers, a winter coat, and waterproof shoes — especially for the study tour days.
Hot tip for staying warm: Toronto is home to PATH, the world’s largest underground shopping and pedestrian walkway system — stretching over 30 kilometers. It connects downtown office towers, hotels, transit, food courts, and shopping.
The closest entrance to PATH from the Steam Whistle Brewery is at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (South Building). Do note: PATH access is usually available during business hours only, so plan accordingly.
